Humble Oil was founded right here under our studio here in Humble over a 100 years ago during the great “Texas Oil Boom.” Today, Humble Oil has grown into todays giant oil and petroleum company Exxon.

You heard the saying “When in Rome do as the Romans do.” Well, after many years of consideration and much deliberating, Hoffland Studios has decided that advertising on the Knot, brides #1 destination for on-line and regional wedding magazine, is’nt such a bad thing afterall. Bonus! The Knot will also feature upcomming Hoffland Studios weddings in their Texas regional wedding publications.

A few months ago we showcased bridal portraits taken in an increadibly progressive furniture store. Our shoot is being featured this month in their monthly newsletter. Disney at Night is very beautiful. This shot was taken by my girlfriend Maddy. She photographed this image of Cinderella’s Castle at night during Disney’s amazing fireworks extravaganza.We didnt have a wedding this weekend so we took off a few days for the most amazing place on earth! The girls and me in front of Cinderella’s Castle.

I was more than extremely dissapointed to learn that my favorite ride was CLOSED this summer for renovations!

We were away to Las Vegas this week attending our annual trip to WPPI (Wedding Portrait Photographers Internation) convention. Vegas seems to get larger each year we attend. We found this little classic vegas chapel along the strip in Vegas!
